Isabelle was reading a book when someone crossed and blocked her light. "Do you mind moving a foot to the right?" She asked, trying not to sound extremely rude. "Thank you." She said, even though no one had moved. But really it was just another hint that the person should move.

If there was one thing that Cynder was not used to, in her starry, gleaming home, it was black clothing. And this new stranger... this looming man... was wearing an entire closet of the color. As always, the star-daughter had her arms full. Glancing over her shoulder to the man, she scrambled to put the scrolls and heavy books down on a table as neat as she possibly could. "Sorry, sir! I'll be with you in a moment, I just gotta-- oops!---" She'd dropped several scrolls and knocked a tiny globe off the table and onto the ground, "--Just gimme a moment to put these away--"
