Hello! Um, I saw your post about Kojuurou in the SW tag, and he's actually been made into a proper playable character in SW4 (which was released in Japan a few months ago). He does indeed play his flute in some of his moves! Actually, he uses quite a few weapons, including a shield, sword, and bombs. :D (Masamune and Magoichi are still friends, though.)

it's an amusing idea but it doesn't stand up to some degree of snuff the way matchups usually do (eg Ice kills Dragon because it's still a reptile so choke on that heat loss cold-blooded piece of shit). as for movesets, so far iirc both moves we have involve the moon, so the best I can come up with for an explanation is "sailor moon". (and it still doesn't explain freakin' Marill. and doesn't make that much sense for Jigglypuff either)

also, I didn't say Dragon-type isn't a problem, I said there are bigger problems, such as, say, "mass Terrakion murder"

the problem is that people (including Game freakin' Freak) keep acting like Dragon-type was the thing that needed a fix the most urgently and just. if the Pokémon Smash thing is anything to go by, Fighting might SE Fairy, which makes it six types that it SEs, including the single most common of them and basically the entirety of what can actually stop a Dragon-type (including the latest attempt, apparently). and unless it's a mutual SE, it also remains weak to only two types, of which only one puts up an actually decent resistance (although Acrobatics has recently helped the other one). I love the Fighting-type, it's one of my favorites, but.

if you're going to mess around with the type balance at least do it properly goodness
