Staff reversing the Profile and TumblrMart tabs is great news. Unfortunately I do not care because they also added quick reblog to web on mobile which means I can now block ads on iOS with zero compromises. Later fuck wads.

I’m going to spontaneously combust if @staff doesn’t put the profile tab back in the bottom bar. Having to hit that back button every time I need to exit my blog literally makes the app unusable with only one hand.
The app on my end still has the profile tab, is it because of different phone brands or something?
It could be. I think they mentioned they were trying it out on iOS. So that phrasing leads me to believe only iOS users will see it, and not even all of them. I am, unfortunately, an iOS user, and my profile tab in the bottom bar has been replaced with TumblrMart and moved to the top bar. Right now it’s an “experimental” test, but given how much people have complained and they still haven’t reversed it, it’s probably only a matter of time before it makes its way to all mobile app versions.
