one of the reasons i personally love profiler JJ is because since s1 this show was set on having just one female profiler at a time (elle then emily) and it was about time they changed that, even if it’s an og character developing her skillset - not to take anything away from her media liaison days since i loved that role for her but it’s just as satisfying watching her overcome the boy’s club environment and have a bigger involvement with the team as opposed to only being a “mascot” for them
