A few new pics from Nick and Todd Stashwick for Hannah’s birthday 🥳🥳 and a post from little miss sunshine herself 🥰🥳
My brother got us some desserts from Four Seasons Durians. This first is a six-piece tray of Mao Shan Wang Durian Mochi (猫山王榴莲麻糬). Kept it in the freezer and thaw at room temperature for approximately 20-30 minutes before serving. Somehow, I think they look like balls of mozzarella or our local fish balls. Still on the frozen side when I took a bite to show you the filling inside.
Next up, a 20-piece box of frozen Mini Durian Puffs (迷你榴莲泡芙). On the outside, the airy puffs look good but when I popped one into the mouth, I instantly knew the durian filling is adulterated with cream and not pure durian puree.
Have you eaten a profiterole/cream puff?
Yes, and I liked it
Yes, and I didn't like it
No
I haven't heard of it
Strawberry Paris-Brest / Fruit Profiterole
Food Art Series: Cream Puff (Profiterole)
A filled French choux pastry ball with a typically sweet and moist filling of whipped cream, custard, pastry cream, or ice cream. Classic french pastry that’s just an excuse to eat lots of cream.
