visiting you in teacher mode this afternoon with your litte ask game and big emoji eyes:
3. How would you describe your writing style? -> remember our conversation on voice, as well.
23. Dialogue or description? Why is the other one so hard? -> or, why are they both hard?
29. What's the hardest thing about writing? -> craft, or emotionally?
33. Give your writing a compliment. -> you are more brilliant and skilled than you give yourself credit for.
🥺🥺 big emoji eyes are my favorite 🥺🥺
3) writing style — christ this is hard. um, neat. direct. simplistic. vignette. sensory. long sentence structure. action oriented.
23) both are so hard — action: you never know when there is too much, and dialogue is the opposite. people don’t say names nearly as much as they are written, but they also convey a lot in their facial expressions and body language, which you don’t get to see in text — so it’s hard to blend the two together to form a natural interaction.
29) for me, the craft. the emotions I have, the ideas are there, but describing those things with accurate, varied vocabulary in an understandable structure is very hard; especially as a very simplistic writer.
33) 🥺🥺❤️❤️ YOU give me more credit than I deserve. a compliment — I write physical things well: sensory, actions, fucking …..good at describing where people are in relation to each other: aka, cockulations 😌❤️
