Zondagmiddag in het Zuiden

13.02 uur: Op de bovenste etage van het Glaspaleis stappen we de lift uit voor een Koempelbroodje van Brasserie Mijnstreek.  Mét uitzicht over Heerlen.

13.51 uur: We dalen af naar de kelder van het Glaspaleis. In Schunck verwonderen we ons over de fraaie Modernistische architectuur van Mies van der Rohe.

14.37 uur: Er valt even een buitje, dus op de ProFreestylebaan op het Pancratiusplein is even niets te doen. We lopen door naar het Bierfestival in de Morenhoek. Bier drinken gaat immers ook prima in de regen.

17.49 uur: En een paar speciaalbiertjes later stappen we Smaak en Vermaak binnen op het Pancratiusplein. Ik ga voor een uitstekende Spaanse stoofpot.

19.13 uur: Toch nog even kijken naar de kunsten van de BMX’ers bij ProFreestyle. Wat kunnen Zondagmiddagen in het Zuiden toch mooi zijn.
