Of course the blonde wasn’t expecting to see any Pokemon approach for a while, so when she went to get up to leave, she froze. Wait, was that one? She slowly went to kneel back down in her spot and watched, seeing the cute little Pokemon picking out some of the food.

What was that? She took out a sketch book real quick to doodle up what she saw, watching the little one sit on a branch and eat. Thank goodness the little Pokemon enjoyed the poffins she made. She couldn’t help herself, the Pokemon was so cute and was absolutely precious nibbling away at the food. This surely had to be a special discovery.

“What an absolute cutie! I wonder, what kind of Pokemon is that..”

Hm? Was something sitting on the concealed shadow? The hidden nightmare seemed to shift at sudden touch, but remained near the furry pink creature.

Puts one whole 'shiny' magikarp on his head before zooming off. Closer inspection reveals it's just a magikarp that was painted gold in order to sell for a ton of money. Probably stolen from the original vendor.

  Surprised at first,  Archie took the fish  from  atop  his  head,        and   upon   noticing  the  red splotch  on  its  side  where it had been come into contact  with his bandanna.

  He knew  immediately the  cruelty that  this pokemon  had been  subjected to.  Team Leader Archie sprinted towards  the nearest  water source to clean off  the   defenseless   fish    before   any   further  damage   could  be   inflicted.

“ Sh-h-h-h-hh.  Yer  gonna  be  alright, ”  he  cooed  as  he  scrubbed  off  the   paint from the magikarp’s scales.
