archie may not seem like the cold, calculating type, but once you set him down at the table he could  absolutely Kill You with a blue/black mill deck

Puts one whole 'shiny' magikarp on his head before zooming off. Closer inspection reveals it's just a magikarp that was painted gold in order to sell for a ton of money. Probably stolen from the original vendor.

  Surprised at first,  Archie took the fish  from  atop  his  head,        and   upon   noticing  the  red splotch  on  its  side  where it had been come into contact  with his bandanna.

  He knew  immediately the  cruelty that  this pokemon  had been  subjected to.  Team Leader Archie sprinted towards  the nearest  water source to clean off  the   defenseless   fish    before   any   further  damage   could  be   inflicted.

“ Sh-h-h-h-hh.  Yer  gonna  be  alright, ”  he  cooed  as  he  scrubbed  off  the   paint from the magikarp’s scales.

Gladion is a misleading name he is not glad:

Archie wanted the best for   Gladion.    The Leader saw his younger self in    him;        all  that   hurt  which  led  him  to  the   unquenchable thirst  to prove  himself  almost   felt like  a mirror image  of his teenage  years   spent   among    the    ranks   of    the    gang   that ruined his childhood.
