The Progenitor God .
@progenitorgod
Byleth shifted a bit, stretching in her seat, she had spent the past ten hours in that very chair doing some work on the plans for the next mission, grading some papers, and pretty much anything but relaxing of any kind. The fact that the goddess behind her had been whining about her not taking care of herself was all but ignored, though it wasn’t completely. She had her duties, she had to finish, and now that it was finally done she wondered what exactly she could do to satisfy the woman. “Do you have any specific idea’s Sothis or is relax the best you have for me?” It wasn’t even meant to be snarky or sassy it was just a generic question, but Byleth being Byleth meant that dead tone probably sounded exactly that, sassy and snarky.
“I know you are bored, but I have stated many times you are free to explore and relax in the monastery yourself, you are aware of that are you not?”

there’s an arch to his brow that shows he’s curious. his lips are turned upward in that slight smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. he doesn’t quite know who the woman before him is, but there’s a familiar air about her. ❝ now where have i seen hair as vibrant as your own before -- ? ❞
“I’m not much of a baker, Sothis.” He looks down at the recipe he’s been presented - it looked tasty, but he’d hate to ruin it with his lackluster abilities. “Maybe you should ask Mercedes or another student to help.” @progenitorgod // one-liner call

Stacks of contemporary books laid against the wall, ones that were meticulously curated by the archbishop’s aide. One of Seteth’s many tasks in the monastery came in the form of sorting new texts that came from the local artisans that came once a month through the mountains. While it was not the easiest task for one such man to deal with, he inquired the help of an overzealous young lady to aid him. He questioned why she wanted to help in the first place, seeing as they were seemingly strangers. But, he would be foolish to think he could get the books to the library on his own.
He will keep his distance for now.
❝ Are you quite sure you can handle that many books at once? These are not light. ❞ Seteth ponders, but he holds as many as he could handle, the books going beyond his head.
@progenitorgod said to edelgard, ❝ It’s an old tale from way back when. ❞
“well, there is no reason not to tell the story. we lose history the less we talk of it.” she speaks as if she knows, as if edelgard herself were privy to such history. she knows her knowledge is only as reliable as arundel - a man she would not trust to be dead were his head severed from his neck. so, in a way, she is goading, yes - tell me what you have been told - but, more honest with herself, she is curious. the girl had traveled, much like professor eisner, so her stories must be varied. “i will make some sweets, if bribery is what you want.”

❝ If you are looking for someone else to play with, go find one of the other students. I have too much work to be done. ❞
