2022 vs. 2016

I haven't painted in this style for a long time and have already forgotten that I can do this. My progress in 6 years, without references and rendering. Me need to try to develop this style direction again

So got into a Kagakuro drawing mood (again) but didn’t know what to do so I was scrolling through old art and decided I wanted to redo one of my pieces I did YEARS ago to see how I can improve. Sketch didn’t turn out too bad so we’ll see how this goes.
