Project done! So I finished my ( roughly translated from Danish) “fisherman bubbles sweater” and not only is it very warm and very soft but also the biggest project finished in a while...and I like the end result very much 😊 Yarn: Sandness merino ull ( 10 skeins)- 100% Norwegian wool Pattern: modified pattern from the local yarn pusher “ uldfisken” since I couldn’t get the bubbles looking good in the top of the sweater, so I adjusted the pattern and put in a few alterations Color: mustard Needle size 4 1/2, metric size

Project Done!

So i finished this knitting project yesterday and it turned out quite well, so i thought i would share a pic  :-)

Project: Cardigan “Maja”

Yarn: Drops Air, shade: Pearl grey ( a blow yarn)  70% Alpaca, 23% Polyamid, 7% Wool

Simpatico enthusiasts, Zinc and Manganese update will be delayed/ shorter than usual, I was a lil busy. Explaination below :3

The past week I have been working on a project in the garden. My great-grandfather built a U-shaped soilstructure out of leftover stones and bricks from buildings that once stood in said garden. Then he planted trees on top and a hedge around it. He wanted to sit there with his grandchildren one day. I remember lying in a hammock put up between those trees

Now, the trees are dying. Last year, the biggest ones had to be cut because they were tilting dangerously. On the right, the U-structure was but a pile of dirt and stones hanging on since. I saw his vision tho, and with the go ahead of the person in charge, I tore the whole wall apart and reassembled it. I separated the bricks and stones because I really like the "old castle walls" vibe and tried to replicate that, but I had not enough stones to make the curve completely, hence the wonky looking left. The other side is more countryhome style now xd Still good!

The plan is to plant two trees in front which can grow tall, and perhaps a third in the back once the others have died completely. An oak for sure
