The Wandering Nation of Southern Xatoul
(unused lore for another unfinished comic because apparently 2021 is the year where I try to tie loose ends)
[Image: comic in six panels, all showing the exact same bird-like humanoid character with short horns, a shocked expression on his face, in front of a fiery background. Someone off-screen is talking to him.
1-”Wait, Teeo, I can explain everything”
2-”At first, we just wanted to boil some eggs... but then, Magpie said barbecued eggs would taste better”
3-”But the stones, uh, exploded in the fire”
4-”And they fell on your tent”
5-”And the tent caught on fire”
6-”You want some fried eggs?”]
Teeo's face keeps changing when I draw him, the beak in particular - so the teacher asked me to do this page with expressions (but his face still changes... damn it).
Teeo’s mother, telling a bedtime story.
[Image: comic in three panels, with bird-like humanoid characters. Big fluffy white bird-person, holding an open bag full of leaves and rolls of tissues: “Let’s recap what we need to pack before going on an adventure. Like my first-aid kit.” Smaller bird-person with short horns and blue around the eyes: “And some fire-starters!” The first one : “Yes, Teeo.” An even smaller black and white bird-person, holding a round flightless bird: “And a kiwi.” “No.” “Yes.” “No.”]
InkTober with Teeo, Esaya and Magpie. It’s over!
27 - “Creepy” (who is this?)
28 - “Burn” (don’t use dead leaves to start a fire Teeo that’s a bad idea)
29 - “Surprise” (Magpie made a sort of giftbox)
30 - “Wreck” (walking through the Ancient Beasts graveyard)
31 - “Friend” (our three bird-like dorks)
InkTober with Teeo, Esaya and Magpie.
22 - “Little” (Esaya likes tiny plants)
23 - “Slow” (Magpie on a big turtle)
24 - “One Dozen” (who wants one dozen birbs, they are good birbs)
25 - “Tired” (three sleepy travelers forming a big pile of cute)
26 - “Box” (Teeo’s people have these big egg-shaped boxes at home)
InkTober with Teeo, Esaya and Magpie.
17 - “Battle” (All the Hyaenodons think Teeo looks delicious apparently)
18 - “Escape” (Magpie walked right into a trap... again)
19 - “Flight” (Magpie thinks the birds in the sky are all giant birds)
20 - “Squeeze” (bear hugs with Esaya!)
21 - “Big” (Indricotheriums are nice but intimidating)
