I am working on a project related to vaccine right now and by reaching out to a bunch of organizations. I was not only able to get in contact with a local vaccine organization, but the vaccine integrity project, AND my local department of health

This ain’t a one off thing either. Last year when I was doing another project I was able to the same thing (different groups and people of course). I was also able to get a brief internship because of this as well

If you need a lesson for this, you can reach out and ask organization questions at anytime. Infact they love engaging with passionate people

Hello! It's been a while!

You may be wondering where I've been - and it's entirely likely that you haven't been wondering that at all! For the vast majority of you, it may even be something like:

"Who are you? How did you get in my house? Please get out of my house before I call the police!"

And to that I say -- Please wait please I'm desperate.

You see, I've been on a holy mission as of late and have finally hit the point where I need more hands on deck. Why? Well! I'm working on:

Yeah! That's right! An Undertale fangame! A totally novel and unique idea that no-one's ever done before!

No, but really. I need as many hands as I can get, and this is honestly a post I've been holding off making for ages. It's always daunting asking for help, but here I am! Doing it!

But I'm not an idiot! You need proof that this is the project to join, right? Right? I wish I had more to show you than the bare bones of the code I have right now (and these background assets are by no means mine, though the player and Fire Guy(TM) and Cloak Guy(TM) sprites were graciously made by a dear friend (hense the need for spriters)), but hopefully my Insightful and Witty Commentary will draw you in!

Hi all.

I am a 25 year old student nurse and nature devotee who has an interest in memory benches.

With no valuable IT skills, a limited budget and no overall knowledge of creating and maintaining an active online map, I am seeking advice, tips and potentially assistance from those of you who have insight on how to achieve my goal.

In the UK, memory benches are everywhere - wooden or steel seats of engraved love given by those who were privileged enough to have shared life with those who have passed.

I made this tumblr so that I can start keeping a record of the memory benches I come across in my city, Sheffield, tagged here on this account by location, postcode and the dedicatee’s given name. I will record benches I find outside of Sheffield also, just far less frequently or sporadically.

My goal is to eventually pool the knowledge and resources together to, first, create an online directory of recorded memory benches and then hopefully develop into a map once I gain experienced of how to do so.

Fuckity. I can live with the wonky heart (I can't even draw a heart without it looking wonky) and the slightly off center flag, but I didn't realize the triangle being uneven and how thin the green is until the literal end of the flag. I'm a rookie to cross-stitch and am unsure how it would look I embroidered red thread over the white and green to even it out, or to bulk up the green stripe by going into the white. Is there any way to salvage this or do I have to start over? I've been working on this for three weeks because my health keeps interrupting it.

Question About Traditional Animation Help

I have a question regarding any future animation commission or freelance work, if anyone experienced in this field has any advice:

If I were to hire an in-betweener, clean-up artist, both, or the like to help work on traditional frame-by-frame animated commissions in the future, what percentage of the commission price should I pay them if I draw the main poses and breakdowns?

After this current small batch of animations I'm working on, I've been thinking about learning the animation pipeline this way and possibly getting work out a bit faster/better, especially for any complex animations. Should I split the price 50/50 between me and the assistant (or 33/33/33 for animator/clean-up/inbetween jobs, and so forth)? Any input on this?

And hopefully many more, the stories can be about tricksters, animals, heroes, gods, deities, kings & queens, and villains I don't care which. I don't like reading scary things so nothing too scary. The project will be aimed at tweens and teens but still, nothing too scary. (If you want me to specify then I will)

I'm also going to do some research myself about the different cultures, so here's my next question.

I will be researching things such as:

Food

Architecture

Historical & modern fashion

Music

Art

And traditions

Are there other things I should research as well? And are there some good mythology books you recommend?
