They are calling this a church conversion. But, it looks like they just moved into an old church and did basically nothing. It does, however, have potential, b/c lots of original elements are still here. 1916 brick church in Bethlehem, PA has 1bd (questionable), 1ba (nope), 1,931sqft, $350k (Zillow's est.: $332,000).
The exterior wood needs repainting, but look at the mural over the door. I wonder if that can be preserved.
Luckily, the brick is intact.
In the foyer, there's mostly junk, but that must be an original bell from the tower. There are also stained glass windows.
They didn't do a damned thing, but move their shit in here. Unfortunately, the beautiful artwork probably can't be salvaged on the peeling walls. But, maybe some of it can. I love it, and I love the niches.
It's a nice size, not too huge. Love the windows and the art. Also love the oak choir loft.
This will take a lot of money to restore. Probably too much for a DIY restore and way too much money for a professional.
The wallpaper in this area looks okay.
Under the choir loft there's a kitchen. Or, maybe just cabinets. Anyway, I like them, especially, the columns.
Looks like a broken stove.
How long has this been like this?
In the choir loft we can see that the art is ruined.
This is the one bedroom. They just put a bed up in the loft.
The space is kind of narrow.
They've got a curtain across the arch. Maybe they were going to make a small bedroom.
Love the sky on the dome.
As I suspected, it's not a bath. Just a teeny sink & toilet.
Looks like they had planned to install that jetted tub. There could be a deck made there.
Graffiti on the back wall.
Large yard.
0.39 acre lot. Needs a total restore, don't know if it's worth it.
This is crazy- a tree(s) fell on this house, but it has a "look" doesn't it? The way the debris is arranged looks kind of decorative, in a way. The home is in Charlotte, North Carolina and is priced at $229,900. It's not safe to enter.
This 2124 square feet Single Family home has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It is located at 4232 Mantle Ct, Charlotte, NC.
