an alternative name to Gorakeet was Bloodgie, honestly i might favor Bloodgie

their feeding method involves.. -finding a large animal -searching for blood-rich areas via heat detection -making a wound -and while holding the wound open using beak they use a similar tongue tube compression method to humming birds(not the same but similar enough) to drink up the blood
