Here is my WIP shot of my wolf girl to be, Tala! There’s still a lot of details that needs to be added and layers that need to be built up in some areas, and after I’m done with her faceup, there’s still the matter of making her ears and tail annnd finding clothes for her! @_@ Still, she’s coming along! ^_^

 I’m sure some of you here might remember my MIO Pullip, Amethyst! I had to completely wipe her first faceup (top photo) because MSC cracked on me and redo it. Well, her second faceup I ended up cracking last year, too, and I figured out it was because the formula to MSC Flat was changed. I was pretty devastated because I was pretty happy with her faceup then, and I ended up putting off fixing it for a whole year.  Then, just a few days ago, inspiration struck to finally help out the poor girl, and I got to work right away! ^_^ Luckily I was able to salvage her eye makeup, and I probably could have salvaged the rest of it, too, by just spraying a layer of MSC UV Cut over the whole face plate to get rid of the cracks, but I decided to redo it all. :) I initially justwanted to change her eyebrows and make the line in the part of her lips to be less clunky, but ended up also making her lips fuller, adding more blushing, and some shimmer and shine to her eyes! :3 I think it makes her look more finished! :) I also ended up repainting her eyelids completely, making them black and giving her shimmery purple eyeliner (I know it looks blue in the picture, but in person, it’s purple!) to kind of give her a slightly edgier look but still have it tie in with the rest of her look a little bit. ^_^ Hopefully you all like seeing Amethyst’s transformation!

Another MIO Project!

Hi everyone! I’m really excited to be starting another MIO Pullip project so soon after having fixed up Amethyst’s faceup! x3 I’ve finally begun working on the faceup of one of the Mocha MIO kits I picked up a little while back! This is one I’m planning on turning into my wolf girl, and so far I’m really happy with how she’s turning out! x3 I thought it would be fun to experiment a little outside my comfort zone and use acrylic paint and a really thin brush to create the lashes and surprisingly, I think it’s turned out rather well! I found it to be much simpler than I had expected to use the brush. I thought it would be a lot harder to control the brush and get the strokes that I wanted. I also found that using the brush made it so much easier to paint a bunch of lashes closer together in a more precise manner compared to drawing lashes on with a pencil, so I think I’m going to continue with this method when working on future faceups! I will be taking some WIP photos soon! I can’t wait to share what I’ve done so far with all of you! ^_^

Another custom Pullip project! I’m slowly gathering parts for my silver wolf girl, who I’ve decided to name Tala! ^_^ Her wig came in a couple of days ago, and I can’t help but feel that it’s perfect for her! The color of it is gorgeous! It’s a bit thinner than I was expecting, but it should do just fine. :) I also found some yellow KiraKiraMeansSparkle eyechips that I had just hanging around in my drawer, along with a couple of other pairs! I’m happy about that, as I thought I had lost them! But, I’m thinking of using the yellow pair on her. I think the color looks great with the silver color of the wig! Now all there’s left for me to get is some materials to (at least attempt) making her ears, tail, and fang necklace. as well as find an outfit for her. I kind of want a bandeau top and a sarong with a tribal pattern on it for her, but I haven’t had any luck with finding something like that. I guess the style isn’t popular enough, and unfortunately I can’t sew. TT_TT So, my only real option is to try to find something close enough, or maybe commission someone to make it. We’ll see!

Introducing Minty Chocolat! by PullipPrincess

Minty is all finished and put together!!! <3 I’m really happy with how she turned out! :3 Hopefully you all love her as much as I do! <3 Her faceup was a bit of a challenge for me, but I think it turned out pretty nice in the end. ^_^

Another MIO Project coming soon~!

Just purchased a tan MIO kit! I’m excited to be working on yet another MIO Project! I think I’m going to spend a good amount of time trying to improve the eyebrows, though. I want to try more realistic looking brows, which is a new thing for me, as I’m not really used to adding so much detail on that particular feature, as I normally draw cartoon and anime styles which normally don’t focus on that. ^^; So, I’ll be learning as I go on this one! I’m also thinking of redoing Berri Macaron’s faceup. I mainly want to do this because I want to photograph her lots more, but her saturated colors kind of make it hard for  me to get a good photo of her. I’ll be sticking to a similar color scheme, but using softer shades. :3

I ended up taking Amethyst apart yesterday to sand off some slight smudges I found on her face, and along with that, I also made her eye shadow a bit more purple looking and colored the lower part of the inner rims of her eyes pink. x3 She was put back together again today and now I'm even happier with her!
