For the first time since probably 2015, I’m under 330. 327.6, to be exact. :D

Project Orange's "Sputnik Sweetheart" is a beautiful pop song that is simple and filled with longing. Project Orange's "Sputnik Sweetheart" is a beautiful pop song that is simple and filled with longing. Its video is heartbreaking, but beautifully shot. The inspiration from the Haruki Murakami novel makes it all the more compelling. Sputnik Sweetheart by Project Orange

A friend of mine invited me to see his band in this place. When I walked in, I had the first impulse to leave. I was wearing really casual cloths and the place looked kind of fancy. But it seemed that both the waiter and the people didn’t care. They were too busy enjoying the magnetic black voice that was performing a classic soul song of the 70s. The singers of the band, that later I discovered was the Project Orange, took turns singing on the stage. I spent all night singing along. The ambience in this elegant lobby of the Flatiron hotel with his modern vintage furniture, with a soft blue light that comes from the huge acquarium in the center of the spiral staircase, is amazing. What makes the place unique is the stage located at the corner of the glass walls keeping the attention of the people who walk by. I find it genial and cool at the same time. Sometimes, after a very busy day I go there (the event starts around 7pm), I take a seat on one of the comfortable couch, I drink a tea or a coke (for alcohol drinker they offer a list of cocktails) and I enjoy the cover songs played in an original way by the talented live band. The place hosts different events with different live bands and guests (for the jazz nights) during the rest of the week. The Project Orange band plays soul and r’n’b on Thursday and hip hop/pop from the gold age to the last hits on Friday and Saturday. If during the week the place seems very slow, on Saturday night the place is full of people. Toshi’s is the place to be. Toshi’s living room 1141 Broadway, New York 10001
Toshi è il place to be. Toshi’s living room 1141 Broadway, New York 10001.
