The misconception of Mafuyu being selfish is just plain stupid to me, like her whole character was her being selfless which resulted in her loosing herself, she's by far one of the- if not the most selfless character in the game, heck her character development was about being more selfish and choosing for her own self which is why I'm confused as to how you can look and read her stories and say she's selfsh its just so so stupid
Y'know the thing I love about nightcord ships the most is that we get different sides and view of Ena depending on who you ship her with, The way she treats her unit members is so different with each other and yet its fundamentally Ena.
She's kind and compassionate and never afraid to say what she feels about something and will always fight for what she believes is right, and will always be thetr for her friends, she still loves pancakes and cheescake and still hates carrots, she still have those traits yet she shows it differently with each member, Ena is wayyy softer when it comes to Kanade (Honestly she doesn't treat anyone the same way as she treats Kanade), Blunter with Mafuyu, and more playful with Mizuki
To those that says "Niigo is just 2duos in 1 group" I am genuinely confused as to how one can get into that conclusion if they payed attention to the stories, like have you been reading the stories with your eyes closed?
All of them care for one another and actually has so much dynamic with each other and that saying that they are just dups is just a bit straight up false.
They are all so equally important to each other and we can fully see this during the 3rd rotation and Mizu4 as they all help Mafuyu in different ways (Kanade confronting Mafumom and not leaving Mafuyu's side no matter what, Ena wanting to help Mafuyu and understand her to help her more and also the fact that Ena researched about Mafuyu's symptoms and sent Mafuyu the result to see if it would help her, and Mizuki telling Mafuyu to run away not for anyones sake but hers to save herself)
Also are we forgetting the fact that it was because of Mafuyu that Mizuki finally the courage to tell them(niigo) her secret (seeing Mafuyu tell her father everything), Also there is a reason as to why Kanade always has a trained card in Ena's events, Kanade has always been a source of support for Ena,(heck for all of them), and It was Mizuki that helped Kanade remember her memories and have character development (which apparently most people didn't pay attention to) during Carnation Recollection, and it was Kanade that founded all of them and formed niigo
(Also Mizuki saying to Kanade that she had saved her or atleast her old self as a way to not only comfort Kanade but to tell her how much she had helped her) and there is a reason as to why Mizuena and Kanamafu are the most popular ship (Tho I do prefer KanaMizu)

Kanade and Tsukasa and the fear of being left behind/being forgotten
Kanade and Tsukasa and supressing childhood memories and their childhood being such a big part of their story
Kanade and Tsukasa and neglecting health for the sake of their music/acting
Kanade and Tsukasa and first making music/creating stories and acting to make their family member smile
Kanade and Tsukasa and not acknowledging their own problems and instead focus on helping others
Kanade and Tsukasa and having their arc starting right now after all the build up leading up to it (I firmly believe that Kana5, Kana6 and Kasa7 is just the starting point and both stories showing just how bad their habits and health really are)

My whole point about Kanade emotionally distancing herself by considering her relationship with nightcord as nothing but savior and saved.
She never even considered them friends, I dont think she realized they were friends until that moment
"Kanade's events just revolves around Mafuyu" meh meh meh meh let me prove you wrong (I probably wrote something like this back then buttt I already forgot abt it and besides I'm getting so annoyed)
Carnation Recollection, its a story where Kanade tries to bury her feelings once more after a visit from her father and how we see a painful moment of where Kanadad doesn't know who Kanaee is and its where Kanade remembers her childhood despite it being painful and figures out that she wants Mafuyu to smile just like how her father made her and her mother smile
Someday from the depth of despair, a story of where we explore Kanade after her fathers collapse and saw just how unhealthy she is afterwards and also shows how niigo was formed, it shows Mafuyu's decline also because its important to how n25 was born
Immiscible Discord, story of how Kanade meets Mafumom and shows how willing she is to defend her friend from her mother and how determined she is to not leave Mafuyu's side and also Kanade having a bit of flashback to her own mother and shows how drastically different both parents are
The way I played that day, story of where we see more of Kanade's childhood, showing us why Kanade started composing and getting cute little moments of her being happy and then allowing herself to be happy just like back then
Unreliable notes, a story of where Kanade relapse back to the way she was back then, overworking herself to the point of collapsing and also explores her conflicting view of Mafumom and also her trying to understand her for the sake of creating a song (Explores her unhealthy habits in the present and shows that habits like that never truly go away)
Anddd lastly Knock on Unwaking Dreams of where we explore more on Kanade's fear of loosing nightcord and her lonliness, also her visiting her mother's grave and also her being questioned as to what she will do after all this
So no, Kanade's event doesn't resolve around Mafuyu, Like only immisicble discord explicitly resolves around Mafuyu cause its a build up for Mafuyu's story to finally run away from her mother but still saying that none of her focus events revolves around her is just so stupid and it just proves to me that you dont read the stories or read it with your eyes closed

I kept thinking about how both Kanade and Mizuki ran away from both of their feelings one due to fear and the other due to guilt
Mizuki ran physically and mentally, avoiding anything close that would mean connection, she fears getting attached and then get hurt later on, ran away from school and ran away from Ena (and niigo), Kanade on the other hand ran away mentally, she ran away from her feelings, she ran away from having to face those feelings and instead bury them and trapped them in a box and instead focus on helping others instead, putting herself below the others, the only thing she cant run away from is her father and his words
I kept thinking about how both of them have/had loving families, they understand that being loved is one of the most important things to heal and thats why both of them want to share that warmth with others
I kept thinking how Kanade basically lived Mizuki's fear and that is loosing those she loved, I kept thinking about how both of them distant themselves from niigo emotionally, Mizuki just much more noticable than Kanade
I kept thinking about Carnation Recollection, how we see both of these distant people get closer, Mizuki is the first person Kanade truly opened up to, (and it was also because of this event that Mizuki considered closing that distance)
I kept thinking about how they both cherish their happy moments and memories because both of them believed that none of it would last
I kept thinking about how Mizuki probably knows Kanade the most and that if someone makes Kanade open up and help her realize her feeling then it would be Mizuki
If someone makes Kanade close that distant then it would be Mizuki. Both of them understand eachother the most in n25
