what's your opinion on the use of nuclear fission reactors in spaceflight? how about Project Prometheus specifically?

I think nuclear fission is cool, and the way it has been used is also pretty neat! It's kinda hard for me to put it into words, but imagining what someone would say to this in the 1600's or earlier makes me feel all giddy in a way. Idk how to explain it. And I much rather nuclear technology is used to traverse space than build bombs.

im sad it didn't have the funds to properly proceed. It's always disappointing that someone's ideas didn't get to make it to fruition, not because it didn't work but because investors didn't find it "profitable." However it did lay groundwork for other nuclear fission engines and it's nice that it can carry out through other space crafts

(crazy to think it was canceled 20 years ago. It can legally drink alcohol right now. (Started in 2003))

The moonlight was shining over the shores of an unknown world.

An inkling girls eyes open, waking from what she thought was a nightmare. But as she got up she realized her missing right arm. She was also dressed in casual attire which was nearly tattered.

It wasn't a dream. Camille still remembers.

She looked at her surroundings and saw the vast ocean on one side and a grassy field on the other side. Camille carefully got up and looked at the rocks and coves that scattered the beach.

One of those rocks sat another young inkling in a white dress who was looking at the horizon. Her starry green ink-hair flowed in the wind.

Camille approached the inkling girl. "Why?"

The inkling girl turned to look at Camille her eyes pure blue. A tattoo can be seen on one of her arms: a heart with stars with the name "Lee" on it. This is a young Janine Squidly, mother of Lee Squidly, and Camille's grandmother.

"Why did you tell me, Grandma Janine?" Camille stepped closer. She could call her Jovana, but that Camille knows that name was a disguise.

"I didn't." Janine got up and faced her. "You didn't care to recognize."

"I... I just wanted to..." Camille didn't know how to feel about this.

"You wanted to save your parents and me," Janine recalled, "But Pyrrhus was right. We weren't ready to face Moros, and I heard what he said..."

"We could've beaten him if it weren't for..." Camille stopped there, noticing Janine looked disappointed. She took a deep breath. "I could've gone better... but Nebby... Mysteeri... Sapphy... all those others..."

She recalled Sandra succumbing to Moros control over her mind. She can recall the forced betrayal Mysteeri committed by Moros' words. She then thought about all those in Inkopolis. Pacling, Malina, Wish, Myzzy..... so many lives that have possibly now suffered by the wrath of Moros.

Janine placed a hand on one of her shoulders.

"Camille... We should've listened to Pyrrhus," Janine stated.

Camille moves away, stepping back from Janine. "Everyone dead now because of me! I didn't want to go back all this! Why couldn't those gods on Olympus just leave me alone! And look! I have no arm!"

Camille has no right arm, only a stub.

Janine didn't want to look at the wound. She shook her head. "I'm sorry, but I think you should think of what you did to lead us to this defeat."

Camille then pushed Janine, but Janine stumbled back and regained balance. Camille tries to push her again, but Janine remained standing.

"Everyone's gone. Everyone except for you!" Camille was tearing up.

Camille had full respect for Janine, "The Freshest Inkling of the Decade". She was inspired by her to be the best as possible, and it was what made Camille "The Fastest Squid Alive". All this time, Janine was with her on this journey. She had so many questions about the stories she didn't believe. We're all those stories of the agents, the Wonder Inklings, and heroes.... they were true? She can no longer say that it never happened. Janine was standing right in front of her, and she has gotten herself involved in this adventure -- Camille's adventure.

"I hate you..." Camille muttered.

Camille doesn't know what to think anymore.

"I hate you!" Camille repeated, shedding tears and blushing lime green.

Deep inside, Camille demanded Eurynome to end this or at least Morpheus to end the nightmare. She kept repeating "I hate you" towards her grandmother, pound a fist on her chest.

Camille just wanted to be done with everything: The Agency, the Heroes, The Pantheon, the Adventures, the Journeys, and so much more. She wanted to be back in Inkopolis with her family and friends. She misses being a racer in Inkopolis, driving cars and go-karts.

"Someone... take me home... please..." Camille buries her head in Janine's chest. She no longer pounded fists or gripped her shoulder. Camille was now sobbing. "I want Mommy and Daddy back..."

Janine teared up and caressed Camille's hair, showing sympathy. She could never be mad at her grand-daughter, so she offered an act of forgiveness to comfort her.

The two embraced.

Afterward, the young Janine lets go and stepped back to take out something from behind the rocks: a .96 Gal and a .96 Gal Deco. She places them on the ground and gets on one knee. She spoke one more in a formal tone, looking into Camille's eyes with chivalrous determination.

Janine then said some familiar words.

"Accept me as your Guardian, Camille Squidly," Janine repeated, "I will shield your back from all foes and give my life for yours if it ever comes to that. I swear it to the Pantheon of Olympus, the Pantheon of Rome, and all the Pantheons of the Mediterranean."

This time Camille didn't feel dumbfounded, and she can already recall what Sandra has taught her about how to respond to it.

Camille couldn't help but play along and respond the same way she responded when Janine was Jovana. She didn't use the name Jovana this time. She also didn't have a spear to knight Janine, so she used a nearby stick.

"Janine, Champion of Janus, I vow that you shall have a place in my journey until its end and in the days after that. I shall never command you to do something that would bring you dishonor." Camille tossed the stick away and gestured Janine to stand up and put her .96 Gals away. Camille and Janine looked face-to-face with a hand on each other's shoulder. "I swear it to the Pantheon of Olympus, the Pantheon of Rome, and All the Pantheons of the Mediterranean."

This marked a renewal between Camille and Janine. The journey is only half-way there, and they'll finish it one way or another.

The sun comes out from the ocean horizon. Morning shined on a world called Ecumene.

And the sun rose, something was coming up from inland. A scouting party of five arrived on horseback, surrounding Camille and Janine. A banner was raised with the Squidforce brand symbol.

So I drew this. However, this is still a concept idea and will not be official yet in my story.))
