Rapid Prototyping- For this project I decided to take forward the Brick Breaker idea, I tuned it into a top-down Brick Breaker where you play as an archer within a Viking raid, I replaced the bricks with an enemy army, the ball into an arrow and the player/paddle into an archer equipped with a crossbow, I also added in the unique idea of a health system where you have your own army behind you and the lives you have account to how many is left in said army, I think this a unique concept because I don't think there many, if any at all, Brick Breakers like that, It had two levels, first one is attacking the fortress and the second being within the walls of said fortress, overall I think this is my most successful project yet as it is fully working.
Game Anglia- This project is where I started slacking and used the fact that my partner for this project was never in as an excuse not to do anything, for the entire Project was make a few assets import them into a base world and code a simple bit of physics, what I should've done for this project was capitalized on my partner's absence by stepping up and taking control of the project, this project was where I should've failed but somehow miraculously passed due to research.
Alternative Controller- For this one my initial plan was to create a game where you work in a garage doing pinstriping and decals for vehicles but instead of using a mouse for it you would use a drawing pen and tablet to give the feel of actually free-hand drawing the decal designs, when It came to development I didn't know where to even begin so I just opted for the easy route of concept art instead, for this I used Photoshop to draw a garage with the hood of a car on the table as well as gas tank for a motorcycle, both equipped with a decal, overall I think the outcome came out well but it could've been better and somewhat of an actual game.
Chosen Discipline, after going through my projects I have decided going forward I will do concept art/ asset designs as the art side of things seems more my thing and more natural to me than the coding.
