A snake-like lizard alien concept for Project Syda. Not much to say about it other than... it might show up in the actual project (but it also might not). I really just wanted to draw something cute. lol

Two large plant types for “Project Syda”. The mushroom one is part of a large fungal forest. The second grows in swampland. Still have lots of art to make for the environments of this project.
Hey, all! Here’s a thing I’ve been working really hard on with bits of time during the past several weeks. It’s a spaceship I’ve designed and the first attempt at one in probably ten years. There’s kinda a long story behind this. I’ve got a HUGE original comic (side project that I call “Project Syda”) that I’m looking forward to starting someday soon. And since there’s space travel involved, I needed to design a spaceship. So, I did! The image at the top is my first concept, line-art of the ship’s basic shape.
Aside from the initial design, I knew I’d need to better understand this ship from several angles/perspectives in order to draw it in a comic, so I took it a whole step further. I downloaded blender and used it for the first time to make this ship design into a 3D model. Some friends helped by showing me how to use the program, while I was making this. I’ve done a couple models in the past, but only 2 or 3 in 3DS Max. I’m lacking lot’s of experience in this field, but I’m quite happy with how this ship turned out!
(It’s still missing some details that will be added at a later date. Those details will appear in the comic whenever it’s started.)
A creature concept for “Project Syda”. This one is called a Chrome Hunter and it lives in an expansive forest of mushrooms along with a variety of spore-like plants and animals. It is the main predatory creature for the Chrome Forest. Since it’s head is flat and protected by a thick exo-skeleton, it usually attacks by charging its prey and stunning them. However, it’s heavy, bulbous tail also offers an alternative attack. It has two fingers and a thumb on its forearms in contrast to three large claws on its hind legs.
More “Project Syda” stuff, featuring some flower types. The silver and black probably won’t be used since they involve a complex idea that would be nearly impossible to get across in comic format. The gold one will probably be snuck in somewhere once or twice (hidden in the background or something). The white flowers will probably be lots of places. I’ve been doing some world building for this side project recently, figuring out various climates, plants, and creatures for an alien world.
