as for the comic i mentioned in the last post ......... this is what im talking about @ u @ im not sure if I talked about it as much here as on twitter, but I’m wanting to get a webcomic started! I’m on page 28 and still not even done with chapter 1. Im having a lot of fun and hope to get to posting asap, but its eating a lot of what energy’s left after work, so im not doing a whole lot else artwise. ;v; i hope it’ll be a good time for everyone when I finally get my act together tho!!!! audio is from GTA V; i watched a movie of the cutscenes a while back and Trevor’s been my voiceclaim for Eustace ever since. Michael DeSanta is obvi not the voiceclaim for Grey, but she seemed like the best person for Michael’s dialogue so. sorry Grey LOL I put this together in Storyboarder, which the wonderful @thefusspot tipped me off to and HOLY GEEZ. it was easy to get the hang of and it did what i needed perfectly and sfjksnksd

baby’s first animatic LMAO i am so gleeful ; _ ; it’s really rough because i dont think there’s a way to separate the lines and the reference layer??? theoretically i think you can make all the frames in PS and move them over if you want to do more involved stuff so that’s something to think abt for the future ............

just wanted to do lil sketches to show personality thru habits a while back and this seemed like an easy thing that could be common across a bunch of chars. i should probably have picked ones i’ve drawn less but also: shut up i love them

im still two days behind on inktober but at least the inking process is getting ....... a tiny bit easier???? or at least a tiny bit less mind-numbing. maybe im just unable to care enough HAHAH

@itskoob on twitter makes fantastic fake screenshots (all their art is incredible tbf), and recently shared their process so I decided to give it a whirl last night just cuz!! A bit of a swing and a miss, but the result is definitely better than the last one I tried years ago. i’ve always wanted to make these things but never really had a process

also been trying to translate some of my WS characters to my original ‘verse. still gotta do some work on ‘em but i especially like mr big angry cactus there. it works for him on so many levels i love it

Yeehawgust Day 7 (Belated): Lasso

This was unique in that it was everything BUT the item required by the prompt that gave me trouble LMAO reffed this pic for the majority of this, but couldn’t rly make sense of the horse’s legs so much and ..... winged it. trying not to fuss and just move on......... hhhhhhhhhhhh

Worldbuilding Nonsense: For everyday purposes, people use lassos made of rope the majority of the time, though there are advantages to conjured ones. Don’t have to worry about them breaking under stress, for one thing. You have greater control over length, for another, and depending on your personal magical acuity, you can manage more than you could with just your own physical strength. The drawbacks are, of course, you’re using your own energy, so if you’re planning on lassoing something large and heavy, you’re on the hook for maintaining that grip via your own personal energy as long as you need to. You run out of power or lose concentration, the lasso dissipates, and say goodbye to whatever (or whoever) you were wrangling. There’s also kind of a steep learning curve on using them. General perception of people that prefer the conjured lassos is that they’re showing off.
