So for the curious, about Project 575

It's a new Sega franchise, featuring a new concept: it intends to be a new genre, a "Song Composition Game" and is basically what I would call "Haiku Vocaloid"-- equipped with the Vocaloid engine, you make the two main characters, Azuki and Matcha, sing the words you enter to match the music and rhythm (provided by a long list of famous vocaloid music composer names I guess?), and the words are a puzzle to be solved in themsleves, such as composing your poem/song according to a particular theme of the day. So it's both a word puzzle and rhythm game and on top of that, they're making an MMD for you in realtime with the cute characters. The story (which is going to have manga and merchandise) is set in Kamakura, Japan, focuses on two "ordinary high school students" (don't they all >w<) Azuki Masaoka (CV: Yuka Ohtsubo) and Matcha Kobayashi (CV: Ayaka Ohashi).

There are going to be several parts to the franchise: The free IOS app, (a communication tool where you communicate via haiku that you compose and make the characters sing, and your friends and other users can vote and stuff on them), which will be available 7/26 (yeah fast!), manga, novels, anime in development and the PSVita game coming 2014.

Kamakura is the setting, and is considered to have one been the unofficial capital of Japan a looong time ago. There's lots of historical sites there.

Anyway. So yeah, it's basically Vocaloid Haiku puzzles but it's also a communication tool and also its own series thing... and looks interesting.
