in todays class,Project People. we focused on various lighting techniques; Frontal, 45 degree, Side and Rim. in the afternoon we each had the opportunity to take images using one of the above techniques. the first image is one with Side Lighting. the second image is Rim Lighting and the third Frontal Lighting. the Third image is one taken with Frontal Lighting. for me the most enjoyable lighting techniques were side Lighting and Rim Lighting; in the first image I was struck by the sitters eye and how striking it was standing out from the dark, it is very much the sitter is coming out from the shadows of the dark. the second image is the shear darkness broken up with the soft welcoming light; silhouette of light; eclipse.
