Done recording for the Little Critter puppet pattern on Project Puppet. Now to move onto editing!
Mass puppet upload! I finished these three before the end of 2016, but am only now getting them up. Sorry about that, but I’ve already got 3 more in the works, and I promise to get these up more quickly after their completion. These were all based off the ProjectPuppet.com Roly pattern, but seriously customized to create the characters I wanted. Their patterns are a fantastic foundation to build from. For Ray I modified to use a different pointed head instead of the round one from the Roly pattern.
These all have foam skulls and 2 have foam bodies. The skins are stitched from fleece, or faux furs, and details are from whatever I think will do the job. I hand-paint smaller details with markers (and pastels as well for Remey- spray-fixed to stay in place), to get the proper colors and depth. Remey’s fur has brushed yarn knotted in to give extra, raven-y, color.

So a couple of my friends got together on an art project dreamed up by Ian Kwachi (@Partikles) a very talented guy and close friend. the plan was to get photogs to shoot celebrities and then have graphic artists 'dollify' them. hence the name #ProjectPuppet. So about two weeks ago, Ian calls me up to arrange some gear for him. i had no idea I was gonna be shooting Ghanaian actress Pascaline Edwards (@PascalineEdwards). I turned from just a fan to a friend by the time the shoot was over. She was so refreshing, original and an absolute doll to work with.I had hoped he had enough images from me to work with and yesterday Ian came by to tell me how happy he was with them. I'm hoping the graphic artists will do a kickass job! Three cheers to #ProjectPuppet
NB: I will find time to edit some of the photos just for you guys.
