I was supposed to be Dancing With The Athens Stars RIGHT NOW ...raising money for @projectsafeinc But #Coronavirus has me all cooped up and I have forgotten all the moves since I haven’t been able to practice with @tabitha_rose21 . Oh.... just an empty house tonight... so I thought I’d move all my furniture out of the way and get a bit dolled up and practice some of the steps I’ve been learning for Dancing With The Athens Stars to benefit one of my favorite charities here in Athens! The folks who know me best know Dancing in public ain’t my thing AT ALL so this is really intimidating for me but there’s no turning back now ....& I’m facing my fear for a really great cause... If ...as #CherylStrayed says: ‘Bravery is acknowledging your fear and doing it anyway...’ we’ll, here I go giving bravery a try! I cannot dance - like - AT ALL. I have two very big left feet. But... this is the second time I’ve been asked to help raise funds for a cause near and dear to my heart ...because of my own past with domestic violence and also because of stories I’ve heard from other women that have benefitted from the funds raised by this event...
