i was going to make a post abt how ive written teenexo characters as lobocorp but i dont think i could do the opposite but my brain produced "helio roland/stratos angela" and now im going to be thinking abt this for a whole year

posts that will make sense to no one but myself. in a baton au angela's technical scores are insane and she's crazy good at multiples but gets docked points 24/7 for artistic expression. roland picked it up to get to know a girl when he was young and then ended up being Really Good At It. the logical conclusion is he does freestyle pairs w/angelica but i thought "he's probably also killer at multiples" and now i need him and angela fighting over the podium viciously every single year at state/regionals/nationals

i like binah a lot as a character who both knows herself well and doesn't know herself at all. i tend to read her as having been that emotionally stunted from a Very young age and then going to work as an arbiter really feeding into her inability to connect w/people. from the way zena talks to her at the end of ruina it really seems like there's not any sense of camaraderie between arbiters as human beings, and then at her job she's hunting down people and seeing them at their worst............ idk i really like the idea that she was right in the sense of never gaining any joy from anything but screams and her tea as garion, but that being tied to the fact she had nothing But those things during that time in her existence. its just interesting to me
