Prom Committee

Today, we had a prom meeting at lunch, since we would only have a few weeks before prom. We would need to ensure that everything would be done as soon as possible to avoid last-minute plans that might be confusing. This shows that we were very responsible, since we were getting tasks done to make the event happen professionally. This shows that we were very organised, since we wanted to ensure that all the tasks were done properly and were not left till the end, in order to avoid any confusion. As a group, we went  through the things we have done and we would need to do. This shows that we were very collaborative as a group, in order to ensure that there.

Then, we also dedicated our lunchtime for this as we knew that this would be important for us. This shows that we were very enthusiastic whilst organising this event, in order to make this prom as special as possible for the attendees, so that we would be able to remember its significance. We thought of the songs we would play during the event and what to play when, so that we would be able to make the event more lively and fit the theme, Enchanted. We shared each other’s thoughts and ideas on what should put when, so that we would come up with the best decision, amongst the ideas. This ensures that we collaborated to share our opinions and made sure that everyone would have the chance for suggestions to go through the different possible ideas for a more sensible decision. Then, we left.

2nd May 2016, Monday

Due to my experience with planning events (thank u head of VPA role), I made the schedules and tech requirements for prom. The old documents weren’t specific at all, and I knew from experience that it wouldn’t work out. I fixed all the documents, made a couple new spreadsheets, and am helping with tech as I’m the most experienced one in the committee in regards to that (especially running order, tech schedule, etc.)
