PROMO BOX: A WHOLE NEW UNDERTALE AU!

Ladies and gentlemen and people of all configurations, I give you, THE UNDERTOON AU!

Art by @brokenknifefrisk The blog for this AU is still under construction, but as it’s my own creation, it’s one I’m very proud of nonetheless! In this AU, Monsters are instead Toons! And when the Powers That Be thought that their wacky antics made kids stupid and violent, they were imprisoned in the Cartoon Underground when they were taken off the air. The only way the Toons can escape their exile is to become Real... but to become Real, they need 7 different characteristics; Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, Curiosity, Wonder, and Creativity. Although all Toons possess some of these things, none of them can sustain them for long enough, as they have no Free Will. Every Toon’s destiny is determined by The Script - and although many Toons wish to break character, many are too afraid to step outside their Stereotype. So, instead of Determination, Frisk and Chara have an unusual amount of Creativity. And using a pencil, pen, or paintbrush, they can CREATE or ERASE. On a Creative Run, Frisk helps the Toons to break character and become much more than they were written, but on an Eraser Run, they make them vanish, with the intent of seemingly re-creating the Underground as they see fit.

Art by @brokenknifefrisk So come one, come all, and contribute! Most characters are drawn in the ‘Classic Revival’ style, like the Mickey Mouse shorts, but Toons from other animation generations (even black and white and silent ones!) can co-exist with them!
