Prompt Four: I’m going to take care of you, okay.
She stays with him. Lays in the bed he refuses to sleep in, with him snuggled against her chest, legs rolled up, one caught between her knees.
She stays up, strokes her fingers through his hair while his breath evens out.
She thinks he’s asleep when she whispers, “I’m going to take care of you, okay.”
His eyes open and they blink, staring up at her like some scared, wounded child.
And maybe that’s just what he is.
No words are spoken, Mulder just cuddles in closer, a new batch of tears soaking through her shirt.

Early this morning, the Shrike Heights Police Station was the target of yet another attack of vandalism. The first attack on the station happened around 4:00am on Monday, covering the south wall of the station with spray painted messages. However, this attack is more severe than the last, the perpetrators having used blood to write a rather offensive message, “Squeal, piggies.” The Shrike Heights Police Department are very offended, and they have diverted their attention to figuring out who the culprit is. Two Shrike Mall employees have been brought in for questioning, but there is no evidence to suggest that the authorities are close to finding any answers. If you have any information regarding this crime, please contact the authorities immediately.

February theme is Local Myths!
Sorry for posting this late, but Local Myths won out in the end!
Digifakes should be based off local myths or urban legends or the like of the artist. You know, stories of strange happenings or cryptids you heard growing up! You can go smaller and base it off myths from your city specifically, or more common myths from your country. Whatever you end up doing, be sure to have fun!
The prompt is open to anyone, just be sure to tag your digifake “digifake prompts.” If you’re worried we may not/have no seen your post, feel free to submit a link to your digifake!
Rules:
Since this is a broad theme, you are free to post your digifakes whenever you’d like, whether it is as soon as they’re completed, or at a later date
You can design as many Digimon for the prompt as you want
Digital and Traditional media are both fine
Final piece does not have be neat and tidy - sketchy styles/pieces are fine
