I really appreciate it though.” She slide the coffee over toward herself taking a sip of it. A small smile crossed her lips. “Just how I like it. You know me better then my dad.”

“R.I.P”

Rori walked quietly through the graveyard. She had been carrying two bouquets of flowers, but she already dropped one off at her mother’s grave. She had moved a little bit more down the way before stopping at a row. Walking in, she stopped at a grave that read Virginia Potts. Her cheeks were already wet from being at her mom’s grave. Her eyes swelled up with tears yet again, however. She touched the top of the grave. “Why did you have to leave dad and me too, Pepper? First it was my mom and now you. I didn’t think dad could handle another heartbreak and I was right. He hasn’t slept in days. He’s been drinking as long as he’s been awake. The only time he sleeps is when he passes out from exhaustion or pure drunkenness. Why? Please come back. We both need you.”

Rori’s head dropped as she broke down crying. She keeled down placing the flowers at the base of the grave. She wiped at her eyes with her sleeves. “I have to go before my dad is the next one I have to visit here,” she whispered before standing up. She walked away trying to regain herself before leaving the graveyard.
