Proper Date | Sabriel
Sam smiled as he waited in the lobby for Gabriel, having texted him he’d arrived. He was excited to go out on his date with his boyfriend, to just let go of his stresses for the night. He wanted to focus on Gabe and the fun they were going to have. Sam did a quick check of his outfit, not entirely sure if he liked it, though he had planned for them to be outside for a bit. When he heard the elevator, he turned, grinning widely as he saw the blond he’d been waiting for, his heart fluttering excitedly.
Walking up to him, Sam wrapped his arms around Gabe’s neck and kissed him firmly. “Hey there cutie. You ready for our date?” He asked, pulling back and brushing a blond lock out of the other’s face, unable to keep his hands to himself.

"Proper Date", a Bellish fic (1/2)
Itschippedcup prompted: hamish/belle - Hamish finally gets the nerve to ask Belle out on a date.
**
They’d kissed. They’d cuddled. Heck, they’d even shared a bed for a few nights. So, Hamish wondered why he was on edge with asking Belle out on a date. He ran fidgety fingers through his hair at least a hundred times as he trekked to the library to talk to Belle.
She’d taken the librarian position just a week ago and had only arrived in Lochdubh barely a week before that, though it felt like Belle had always been there. They ate lunch and supper together most of those days and had many walks through the town or countryside, but never was any of that a proper date. At least, in Hamish’s mind, it wasn’t.
I want to go on a proper date. Like to a restaurant or something.
Proper Date || Kooper
Kurt loved spending the night and the whole day over at Cooper's. He was fond of falling asleep next to Cooper and waking up beside him. It made Kurt happy, extremely happy. Breaking up with Blaine, although his decision, had devastated Kurt more than he had let on to anyone. It seemed like a end of the world or at the very least the end of Kurt's life. Dramatic as it may have been, Kurt didn't think he'd ever get rid of that feeling. But then there was Cooper. Kurt found comfort, and compassion in a man he didn't originally imagine him being with. Kurt could admit he wasn't wholly over Blaine yet, and he still loved him and getting past those things would take time. But Cooper was the start to forgetting, he hardly ever thought of Blaine in Cooper's presence.
Kurt had been excited about this so called "proper" date that Cooper had planned for them since they had decided to stop being just friends. He spent the last hour in the bathroom trying to get his hair just right. Once he was satisfied, Kurt emerged from the bathroom in Cooper's apartment with a large grin on his face. "Do I get to know now where you're taking me, or what you have in mind?" He wore black pants with a classy white button up and his dark grey vest and black skinny tie. His hair effortlessly swept off his forehead. Kurt leaned against the frame of the door. "I hope that whatever you have planned, I'm dressed appropriately."
A proper date.
I pick her up from her house, naturally, with flowers. If I can figure out her favorites (or if she likes them at all) then that will certainly help on this front.
I'll take her to early dinner, adhering to any kind of thing she doesn't like (vegetarian or what not) and we talk each other's little ears off about common likes and dislikes. We end our dinner with myself paying for the bill.
Then, we go to a concert or show or movie, and I try to hold her hand, and she lets me.
And then I take her home, we share a kiss before I walk her to her door and she texts me about how much fun she had before I get out of her complex/subdivision.
Okay, end romantic rant.
