Hello, I am a social anthropologist and a college profressor by day, but I also enjoy cinema, reading novels and mysteries. I post about films I watch--recently, a lot of K-dramas and Nordic Noir, with an occasional Polish movie--and books I read for pleasure. Just finished watching Even if this Love Disappears Tonight. A very sad but beautiful movie.

Watched Harbin the other day and what a disappointment! As much as I like the fight for Korea’s independence history, not to mention Hyun Bin as an actor, this was a half star movie… Do not recommend.
