Last night I attended the Newsies Rally zoom event with broadway!Medda Aisha de Haas. I attended as more of a test run for Sunday night's rally with the 1992 Newsies mini reunion to make sure I knew how to work the zoom chatroom lol. But it was cool to talk to Aisha and tell her I saw her perform on the broadway tour in 2015. I asked her if she got to visit Cafe du Monde while she was in New Orleans on the tour and she wholeheartedly said yes and loves going there.

I was looking through one of my desk drawers and came across this autographed photo of David Sidoni. One of my friends from the NML got to meet him when he was touring around hosting Wheel of Fortune auditions. She couldn’t get me a personalized autograph, so she photocopied hers at Kinkos and sent it to me with a picture she snapped of him hosting. It was such a wonderful surprise receiving it in the mail! The autographed photo hung on my wall for a few years.
