Alright, so this is my first fan fiction. It's a one-shot, because I wanted to try it out and get feedback on how I could improve, :) Paula's proper-turtles who as written Hidden Happiness. She is a great source of inspiration and my heart beats for her, my little doodles. :) anyways. Hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think ; ask box is open 24/7. xx
The phone vibrated from under her pillow, not bothering to wake up she ventured her hand under it searching for the source of the racket. The screen had lit up, only reading: ”Are you decent?xx” She didn’t even have time to process the message, as her door slowly opened to reveal a mess of dark curls and heavenly green eyes.
Her eyes widened, realizing that Harry was standing there; looking at her ungroomed hair and bed sheet-marked face.
“GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT, it is 10 am. GEEZ YOU CAN’T JUST DO THIS HAZ! I AM NOT ADEQUITALY DRESSED, AND MY HAIR IS JUST, I CAN’T EVEN! OH GOSH, YOU TWAT! GET OUT!” Her pillow flew and connected with the head of messy curls.
“Pauladoodles, no worries babe, it’s what makes you beautiful. By the way, ouch, that hurt and I’M NOT A TWAT, YOU WILL REGRET THOSE WORDS WOMAN!” As Harry said this, he threw himself on her, almost stopping Paula’s breathing. After many unsuccessful attempts to gain control over Haz, she went completely limp under his broad body.

Needless to say, it was as effective as you could get. Haz got up panting, his face reddening. As soon as he had gotten up, Paula took the opportunity to overthrow the older boy and straddle him, tickling him as he giggled giddily. It was simple, pure puppy love. The way they simply did stuff with each other. How they baked cookies and made a mess of the kitchen, how they fought over Benedict’s looks and who loved him most, and lastly how when they kissed the world around them stopped and stared. How the lights lit up and the voices hushed as though it left them as breathless as it left her.
Paula thought to herself that she wouldn’t have a better wake up than this. She couldn’t wait to wake up to this beautiful boy every morning.
She got dressed fairly quickly as Harry couldn’t stop complaining about wanting to get to where they were going, wherever that was.
She came out of the bathroom to find Harry spread eagle-like on her bed, holding out his hoody and cap to her.
“It’s quite chilly out, love. Wouldn’t want you to get all stuffed up now, would we?” His smile overpowering his childish face pierced with deep dimples. Oh lord, he was the cheekiest.
He led her down the corridor, his slender fingers intertwined in her petite hand. The walls bordered with flowers overflowing from their pots, miniature palm trees swaying gently in the semi-still atmosphere, blooming orchids. All this was breathtaking. Much so that Paula found herself gasping for air. It was all too surreal, this much diversity was rarely seen in the UK due to the gloom. But this, this was just sublime. The corridor seemed never-ending, almost pouring into infinity. The greenhouse kept on expanding, and Harry kept mumbling: “We’re getting there, don’t worry, we’ll get there.”
And then they reached it, the end of the path.
It was clearly the end; it did not fork into a left or right path, only this dead end which was framed by too leafy banana plants that had outgrown themselves for the temperate climate. Harry strewed them aside with a swipe of his hands to reveal a trap door, which was padlocked. Paula’s eyes looked around franticly. What was Haz pulling here? In no way did she feel like defying rules today. His rugged hands went up to her hair, softly rubbing past her cheek to catch a bobby pin; he slid it out easily of her chocolate hair and brought it up to the lock. With a swift movement the lock was done with and the door was opened at once. Paula’s vision faded to complete black as Harry’s hand slid up to cover her pretty eyes, her heart started to race, his fingertips on her skin, the secrecy. It was all too much. His torso was pressing into her back ever so slightly pushing her on, his smell wrapped around her, enthralling Paula. Harry’s curls brushed against her neck as he brought his mouth down to murmur into her ear: “Open.”
As I opened my eyes I couldn’t believe what I had just walked into, it was like I had awoken on planet perfect. Haz had closed the lights revealing hundreds of fireflies buzzing past us, urging us on. His hand slid down from my cheek to my chin, bringing it forwards to meet his rugged lips. I stood frozen, completely under shock. It wasn’t our first or our second, more like the thousandth, but this boy’s charm had no limits. He broke away first, whispering onto my lips that he had brought me here because he needed to get the rarest and most gorgeous of species in his haven. His breath tickled my lower lip as he breathed, and his lips parted into a sincere smile. I couldn’t help myself anymore. I dove into his lips with mine; crashing down on them as though I was the sea and he was the shore.

If he was my ocean than I’d be his boat, if he was my swing than I’d be the push, but if he stayed just as he was he’d be mine forever.

That’s when I heard what I thought was a softly whispered, “I love you doodles.” The first one I’d ever heard.
