Beware false prophets (in synth form). Accept no substitute
Enjoy some slow motion Thames footage in 4K shot with the Sony RX100 mkVII camera and scored entirely with the Sequential Prophet 12 synth. The DSI (now Sequential) Prophet 12 is a capable digital/analog synth hybrid, with digital oscillators and envelopes but retaining Dave Smith's well regarded analog filters. The synth music featured in this video was entirely composed and performed with the desktop version of the Sequential (formerly DSI) Prophet 12 synth. This relaxing background music highlights the musicality of the Prophet 12 synth.
The latest DSI Prophet 12 firmware update allows for Linear FM akin to the Yamaha DX family. The 4th Bank of my P12 is dedicated to Linear FM with the first patch "Chowning Stack" named after John Chowning, inventor of FM synthesis.
Patch 5 of the FM-Centric Bank. Will be posted-up on my Gumroad as soon as they're done. Sounding bodacious. Had to think of an 80s adjective.
