a boy sits at the corner alone under the darkening sky
he offers his hands
(as if in prayer
reaching for the promise that light will come again)
he offers the skeleton of a small bird instead
(he put it together himself)
he tells you proudly
he put it together again and
he felt like a god
(the mercy and the creation of a life in his hands)
which of these are angels👁️
transmission towers
rotting meat
deer crossing the street at night
the many whirring gears of a machine
fractals
insects, especially winged ones
there’s anomalies in your scans
it’s in your brain
your bones
it’s made a home
and it will grow
spread
you don’t have long
or you might have infinity
it can’t be determined as friend or foe
it’s a waiting game
and your eyes have started to glow
Your dog killed a groundhog the other day, broke its neck and drew its blood. You managed to pull them away before they could actually tear into the thing, but the corpse remains among tall grass, red on green. Today you watch as a bird of prey descends from the sky, a massive thing with wings as big as you. It looks almost ethereal, an omen sent from above feasting on death. But the murder of crows that has claimed the field soon arrives, and they scream and scream until the eagle has gone. Then they descend upon that broken corpse, leaving not even bones behind. You turn away, and beg of the world for safety.

MOVING BLOGS !
If you don’t want to read all my rambling, feel free to jump right to my new blog @cathedralls
Wow . It has been .. a WHILE. I deeply apologize for my sudden disappearance. Seeing all the asks having piled up in my inbox gives me the greatest pang of regret. If I had kept this up instead of losing myself, my abilities may still be as pristine as they were.
Anywho. The point of this isn’t self-pity. I’d like to try and reconnect to what I made myself, but this blog has become too messy for my liking, and as fun as the Plague Doctor Persona I gave myself was, I’d like to re-establish myself and my work as Me.
Prophecy work won’t be immediate, but I can trust I’ll be giving it a try soon enough.
Please be patient with me, and trust I’ve missed you all and my work dearly.
