Have you ever caught yourselves imagining doing activities that the world casually involves in, but is restricted for us as muslims ? Living the moment in your imagination and then coming back to the reality and groan thinking why we arent allowed to do a couple of things. You feel like all the fun stuffs in this world is restricted for us. And you find everyone becoming a haraam police when you go about it ? Frustrating hunh !? Well... Have you ever noticed that the things that are restricted for us are a very few and they aren't among the necessities for survival. You can survive without it. Then why yearn for it? Because everyone around you casually engage in it ? Everyone around you brag and talk about it ? Tempting much ehh !!? Well we know this life is temporary and we have an eternal afterlife according to our deeds. If this world is beautiful, comforting, relaxing and satisfactory in itself, then we wouldnt give a thought about the hereafter. We wouldnt want to think about Paradise and wouldnt strive for it !! Everything that is restricted is for our good. Either to protect you, comfort you, or honor you. This world and everything that it contains is temporary. This world is beautified only for the disbelievers whereas for a believer this world would feel like a prison. Think of it this way. "Indeed with hardship comes ease". Either you face hardship here, and ease in the hereafter or you face ease and comfort in this world and hardship in the hereafter. (Na'oozubillah, May Allah safeguard us from the trials of the hereafter, and help us pass through the Judgement day with ease). So dear friend, let not a little hardship and a little restrictions dishearten you in this life which will feel like only a morning or an evening when compared to the Aakhirah. May Allah keep our hearts steadfast upon his deen. THE FIVE KEYS OF UNSEEN إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلسَّاعَةِ وَيُنَزِّلُ ٱلْغَيْثَ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْحَامِ ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌ مَّاذَا تَكْسِبُ غَدًا ۖ وَمَا تَدْرِى نَفْسٌۢ بِأَىِّ أَرْضٍ تَمُوتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌۢ Verily, Allah! With Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He sends down the rain, and knows that which is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware (of things). Surah Luqman 31: v.34 Narrated `Abdullah: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The key of the Unseen are five: Verily with Allah (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour He sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware."
