"babee c'mon get uppp” you say with your words full of excitement kissing your boyfriend all over his face to wake him up
“okay okay dear, I'm getting up but someone seems extra excited for our day” he sleepily exclaims sitting up pulling you on to his lap giving you a loving peck on the lips.
“well no duh you’ve been busy so of course I'm excited so c'mon lets go get ready sleepy head” you get off his lap taking his hand dragging Kaneki out of bed.
After finally getting out of your shared home and making your way to the new bookstore that had opened up not to long ago. Making your way into the store Kenaki following close behind you. Once reaching the aisles you let Kenaki lead the way through the books watching as he picks up books quickly skimming through them. You reach your hand into your pocket fidgeting with the small box hidden in there,
“dear, you okay?” the white haired males voice rings in your ears
“yes of course, did you find any books you like so far?’ quickly changing the subject
As you both wonder deeper into the shelfs you move on to one knee holding the small box out. Kaneki turns around looking down at the box,
“Wait.. no this was supposed to be my moment” he says as he pulls out a small ring from his pocket
“ I beat you to it babe, so will you marry me?” he nods his head and you slip the ring on his finger,
“will you marry me then darling?” you let out a soft yes, holding your hand out so he can slide the ring onto your hand. sharing a sweet kiss right there in the book store, What a way to get engaged to the book nerd you love.
