Subconscious identification like this is so annoying! I try to consciously remember things like accessories and clothing, but when I do, I can’t seem to remember as well as I do when I’m not trying ¬¬

“The biggest positive I've found is that sociopathic people can't really take advantage of you. With most people, they only have to be nice and charismatic the first time they meet you, and then that first impression sticks. But with us, if they're an asshole the second and third time we meet, we're pretty sure they're just a useless manipulative asshole” - quoted with permission from an acquaintance on the prosopagnosia Facebook page

Finding a specific person at a distance in a crowd in low-light? Easy.
I was at a wedding tonight and the best man was the groom’s younger brother. People kept commenting how much they looked alike in their suits. His own finance-turned wife had trouble telling them apart several times throughout the night. And here I was- never had trouble, especially once the sun went down and all that was left to provide light were the fairy lights.

I have a YouTube channel that I want to be for everyone, but I realise it will likely be most heavily followed by the face blind community. That means, if it ever takes off and I become famous, I’ll never be hounded by my fan base... unless someone makes the mistake of introducing me

If I really want to see if something looks good on me when I don't think so, all someone has to do is photoshop me into the clothing item, change my hair a bit, and put me in a different setting. I won't recognise myself, and I can judge my own attractiveness without being overly critical*
*haven't actually done this, but only because I don't know anyone who knows photoshop. Also, in order for this to work, I would have to not be expecting it, so there's that.

Extremely rude customer at work? Won't have a negative reaction (and therefore biased behaviour) towards the person the next time they come in.
