Prospect Cottage.
The Tempest - 1979 - Derek Jarman
TIL World of Interiors has published the same story about visiting Derek Jarman at Prospect Cottage three times since 1989. And yet there's almost no info about this painting—not by Jarman, but by Robert Medley CBE RA, Jarman's painting teacher, who played Emperor Diocletian in Sebastiane (1976), Jarman's first feature film. Medley based the painting on his one scene from the movie.
Prospect Cottage is now open for interior tours as well as the garden.
