A personal item from each partner (I use hair, fingernails, or saliva)
Add herbs based on what you need in your marriage. For example, a good protection herb is patchouli. Something for prosperity can be some red clover.
Ashes of ancestor money burned on your altar
A splash of Florida water
Gold mica to represent wealth
A Mason jar
Green candle
Quartz crystal chips
Step One: Clean and cleanse your space and ingredients. It is important to work in a good clean space and also to have a good mentality while doing this type of work.
Step Two: Add the hair (whatever you chose for this, add it), Florida water, and quartz chips. Then, sprinkle the sides of the jar with the gold mica. The gold mica is optional. Hoodoo is about working with what you have and if you don't have it. Figure something else out.
Step Three: Add your herbs one by one, asking for their assistance and thanking them for it. Everything has a spirit. And we honor that.
Step Four: Pick 3 scriptures from the Psalms scriptures that will help you in your marriage. If you are having problems with communication, find a psalms for that. We have a list of psalms and herbs on the blog. Write the psalms scripture on a piece of paper. Brown, preferably. Then, put it into the jar or glue it to the lid. Say the full verse in the jar. If it is something you truly struggle with, say it three times in the jar.
Step Five: Seal the jar. Place your green pillar candle on top and burn it. If you don't have a pillar candle. I didn't. I suggest burning the glass candle while doing the work. Think positive thoughts, and don't let anything disturb the peace you have created for this work. After you assemble the jar, the candle should have burned enough. Be EXTREMELY careful and SLOWLY drip the wax along the seal of the jar. The way will roll off and burn you if you do it too fast. Please be careful. If you chose to put the piece of paper with the scriptures on the lid, pour wax over the paper.
LASTLY, store your jar in a place that is easily accessible to you but put away from others. You can unseal the jar to refresh it if you want but it should not need that for awhile. Every now and then shake the jar.
This has worked wonders for me and continues working for my marriage. We talk more and our financial problems are significantly better.
