What's the biggest thing that's changed for you since you were on Tumblr last? (Side bar, really wish Tumblr would let me send this from another blog, since it's no longer "really" my main.)
I've only been here ten minutes but mostly I'm just noticing that it's...quieter? Maybe it's because the majority of my follows are aesthetic blogs/art blogs but the vibe is just less cacophonous than it was before. There's something nice and soothing about that, and also something a little sad about losing the vibe of a raucous party with fan theories and hot takes flying.
I'm really interested in re-engaging with old blogs I've been following for, like, a decade and digging my fingers back into fandom meta and transformative work (on my fandom account). This place is a lot less engagement-poisoned than twitter, where I've been spending most of my time. There's still clout chasing here, for sure, but you just don't have the same virality and visibility as, say, on twitter or tiktok, so it culls some of the worst instincts in the poster.
