I love Michael Afton dude. He started out as a stereotypical 80s bully who would constantly torment his child brother for his own enjoyment, then devoted his life to killing his father who murdered children he doesn't know. He is love enduring despite everything else being hell around him. He survived a week in a locked building with giant ghost-robots who want him dead with only doors that use energy when they're closed, and 12 minutes of energy each night, his workplace being burned down, his organs being scooped out, being controlled as a flesh puppet by a giant robotic amalgamation of his dead sister, mother, and 3 other nonsapient robots with no medical attention. He hasn't lived a day of his life. He should've married his childhood best friend. After the robot that was occupying his body left it, making his body collapse, he immediately got back up and went back to trying to find his father. He picked his child brother up and put him in the mouth of an animatronic that he feared more than anything as a teenager. Everything he does is for him. He survived 6 hours every night for 5 days in that place with the ghost-robots. He experienced ptsd-induced visual hallucinations of them and still took up the same job at a horror-attraction version of his father's workplace that he would spend every weekend at as a child, and his child-murdering father is hiding in said attraction. He searched endlessly through his father's study to find an illegal, underground facility filled with multiple impressively high-tech robots that also want to kill him. He willingly went there for 6 nights. He managed an entire pizzeria while living as a corpse for a week. He made sure his father was trapped somewhere in there. He had his father's oldest friend burn down the place so all the murdered children could be free, and his father could finally be drug down to where he belongs. He stayed in that pizzeria with them and let the flames consume him. He was taken away from this mortal world alongside all the murdered children that tried to kill him every night. He died in the building with his little brother. He was love enduring.
