Smiling Critters idea:

Colorblind Craftycorn.

Specifically red-green colorblind.

Like for the first few months being apart of the friend group they knew her for her drawings being off in shades. Like grass being washed out looking in nature drawings and Bubbas house being paler in neighborhood drawings.

And then she draws a group picture and Catnaps blue.

So Bubba gets her tested and turns out shes got weak red cones in her eyes.

And now she has colorblind glasses.

Bonus points if the first time any of them hear her yell is "HOLY MUSES WHAT IS THAT!?" while pointing straight at Catnap the first time she puts on her glasses.

Achromatopsia and general Color Blindness(1st), Tritanopia and Tritanomaly(2nd), Protanopia and Protanomaly(3rd), Deuteranopia and Deuteranomaly(4th)

It's pretty obvious why there isn't already color blindness flags, but I think there should be so I made some. the first is mainly for those with achromatopsia, but can also be used as an umbrella flag for all kinds of color blindness

The triangles represent the cones cells, and the white circle is for unseen colors. I figured that sense most flags are differentiated by colors that it would be important to make sure these had unique shapes instead.

We aren't color blind so if you are and have any suggestions feel free to tell us.

In the process of creating my last post, It seems I accidentally created a surprisingly good colorblind palette, so I refined it. I don't usually toot my own horn, but this is (at least, according to my own tools, which I admittedly have no way to verify the accuracy of) one of the clearest colorblindness palettes I have ever seen that doesn't look like poop for us normal trichromats. I'm looking at you, GTA 5 team colors.

It should be noted that these colors are incredibly fragile, especially to protanopia. Even a slight change in hue significantly damages discernability between at least two colors.

Admittedly, this palette does not hold up for total achromats, but that can easily be fixed with some simple brightness adjustments.

I am releasing this palette into the public domain, but be sure to let me know if these colors have been tread before, as well as whether or not they function as my filters say they do.

Reading stuff about color theory is really fun as a partially colorblind artist because people will say stuff like "The average person reacts with visceral disgust when seeing this blue next to this yellow." And I just have to be like, "I think that's an exaggeration but I guess I don't know for sure."

Just found out our phone has colourblindness filters, something none of our previous phones have had! Now we can actually tell apart different shades of colours in the red-yellow range! Our protanomaly is pretty mild but it's enough that colours in the red-yellow range are hard to tell apart due to looking brown or greenish without filters.
