Hydricen

(pronounced as HI-dra-sin)

Hydricen refers to any relationship, attraction, orientation, or partnership that involve one or more individuals with fluid and/or fluctuating genders. Hydricen is similar to Mestric, however hydricen is specific to fluid and/or fluctuating gender and includes genderfluid/flux individuals who don't (always) consider themselves to be non-binary. Those in a hydricen relationship may use or switch between additional label to describe their relationship such as primlunic, sapphic, and duaric, depending on the gender changes, or they may simply always view the relationship as hydricen.

Hydricen can also be used to describe distinctive attraction through a fluid and/or fluctuating gendered lens, similar to how diamoric is used by enben.

The name comes from hydrangeas, which change color with soil PH, and hydro, the prefix for thing related to water. The symbols is individual hydrangea flowers, the version without the leaves is just because it looked clearer when small with out.

Not our usual type of post but, reminder simply plural is shutting down tomorrow so if you use it and have not yet gotten your affairs in order, you should probably get started on that now.

Some alternative that we've used and can recommend are pluralspace, hivemind, plural log, and ampersand. We would personally recommend using more than one for the time being, especially if the main one you are using is server dependent, so you do not lose anything in case of potential future shutdowns

helooooo is it possible if you could make a flag for angelman syndrome (i dislike the existing one, no shade to the creator tho) & another for severe intellectual disability, ik intellectual disability flags (many actually) already exist but ive never seen any for subtypes anyways ty if you do my request 🫶🏽

An Angelman Syndrome flag with and without a symbol, and a Severe Intellectual Disability flag

For the Angelman Syndrome flag, I used blue because that is the awareness color for Angelman syndrome, green because it is the color used for awareness for genetic disorders which include chromosomal disorders, and yellow is based on the gold stripe on the general disability pride flag with stands for cognitive and (neuro)developmental disabilities. The symbol is an angel because of the name of the syndrome, the 14 blue spots on the wings and the yellow on the halo represent the change to chromosome 15 that causes the syndrome.

For the Severe Intellectual Disability flag, I based in on this intellectual disability flag(link), with the dark purple outer thinner stripes being the color severe intellectual disability used on that flag, the blue and greenish blue represents the diversity that exists within one severity subtype, the light green represents that same as the green on the flag it's based on, the pink and warm purple represents co-occurring syndrome and disorders.

This was made with multigender and genderfluid individuals, that experience fiaspec, niaspec and/or abinary, and miaspec genders, and are uncomfortable with using just one of the above labels for themself. If you're multigender and/or genderfluid comfortable referring as just one of the above, that's fine, this is made for people who aren't.

If you're multigender and/or genderfluid comfortable referring as just one of the above, that's fine, I just made these because I am pretty I'm partially genderfluid, and I get a bit dysphoric calling myself Gay when I am mostly abinary or a woman.

The use of yellow(ish) comes form the most common non-binary flag, the green, though it isn't the same shades, comes from the genderqueer and diamoric flags, the purple ties to the purples on the trixic and toric flag, and the dark blue/pink is for attraction to men/women.

Can someone who haves the same label in the attractions still use the garden aspec labels? For example, if i'm greyaroaceapl, can i still use the rose aplaroacespec label if i feel that my rose attraction is more light grey or grey and my apl attraction is more dark grey or i'm less inclined to feel it? Asking since i use two aspec labels for all my attraction types but i still feel ones more than others, because the examples you gave were of having different labels for each attraction type

Yep absolutely. The labels also don't necessarily have to be about attraction, they can also be about interaction stances, how often the attraction or lack there of comes up, or a mix of different factors.

A Genderfluid Fragment Gender System microlabel, which involves genderfluidity that’s always at least partially neutral/abinary aligned but can also be partially androgynous or partially aligned with one binary gender. so in the case of genderbellflower for example, it essentially encompasses genders that are exclusively neutral, neutral and masculine, or neutral and androgynous, while excluding genders that are exclusively masculine, exclusively feminine, or neutral and feminine.
