Through out their relationship, Eddie has been threaten by so many people that "if he hurts Buck, we'll hurt you 10x worse" it's never "if you hurt Eddie" so in their relationship eddie tries to be careful not to hurt buck in any way, even as much as talking about disagreement.
but what if it was Buck who hurts Eddie? maybe Buck went back to Buck 1.0 or maybe Buck forgot about their anniversary. eddie has no one to go to, not even his son, feeling bad to talk about his relationship problem with Chris. so Eddie become stressed and sad about the whole situation and stray away from Buck, who assume that Eddie is cheating on him. which makes everyone hates on Eddie before finally he snap and broke down in front of the fam while chris tries to sooth him.
