There really is no point in making a shopping list when you ultimately forget it. He let out a small breath, the only sign of his frustration as his face remained rather stoic. He had a lot to shop for today. He was done shopping for his regular replenishments – he had gone to the regular grocery store for that but needless to say it had been a disaster, his scatterbrain meant he had to recheck his items repeatedly only to find out he had missed something and/or had gotten too much. That had happened too many times, 17 times but who’s counting?
This is why he needed a list.
Right now he was at a specialty baking store. He wanted to see what treats he could make for his new neighbors before he went back to his family in China for a visit. His goal was to try making a few treats for the immortals he’d been able to meet in his short time in Westlore. If you want people to like you after all the best way to do that is to feed them.
