The Dead Dunes, A lifeless desert within which rests a holy relic. This region is covered with endless desert sands as far as the eye can see. Within it can be found the shanties which form a base for treasure hunters seeking their fortune in the arid wilderness, as well as ancient ruins said to conceal a divine treasure.
Lightning had come to the place not quite knowing what to expect- Not that she found that it mattered in the end. She had found an old friend hiding in desert, Oerba Yun Fang. The woman who had once been a L'cie with her and the others.
The woman was also a fantastic hunter for not being a Miqo'te.
Their Quest was done for the time being, the treasure they had been looking for found, and with a slight decision the two had decided to do a bit of hunting for old times sake. Hunting in a desert however? Not exactly what one would call...practical or easy.
And perhaps it had been the thrill of the hunt that had started it in the first place.
